Day 1 - Bobs Farm - Blayney via Rylestone

We started out the day in bright sunshine and went through thick fog near East Maitland and then it became overcast all within 50km of home!!
After dropping some bananas into Dave's folks house we were on the road in earnest! Both feeling a bit tense we got on the New England Hwy and stopped for petrol just outside Greta.

We stopped on the side of the road for morning tea and I got bitten by an ant!! rotten things love me! it was a pleasant spot and we did a little bird watching while enjoying our hot cuppas courtesy of our thermos mmmm

We were supposed to be meeting friends for lunch in Kandos but unfortunately they couldn't make it so we stopped in Rylestone instead a lovely little pub with a great garden to eat our lunch in the sun.
Quite a few roadworks along the way but we pull into Blayney about 4pm.

Dinner tonight will be at Blayney Bowling Club.
PS when we got to the Bowling Club they weren't serving dinner and were VERY unfriendly!! so we walked to one of the pubs in town and had some yummy lamb cutlets and veges for dinner.

Bike packed up ready to go
