Day 2 - Blayney -Henty via Junee

Today started out a bit cool we both needed our neck warmers.  For those of you 40+ you will remember in the 80's when we used to talk about eating our food as pills so below you see my breakfast ha ha not really it's fish oil and joint formula yes I'm old!!  Also I put a photo of the bike all tucked in for bed :)

So we started out the day in bright sunshine getting away from Blayney at about 8:30am the road was pretty good a few nasty spots but David managed to negotiate the worst holes and we had a great run.  We stopped in Cowra for a few bits and pieces and were soon on the go again I am really surprised at my bladder OK TMI but all I can say is thankyou Jesus!! healing is amazing! oh and my knees too they have been wonderful.  We stopped in Young for a nice cuppa by the water in a park, the sunshine was so lovely, we ditched our neck warmers and gloves after morning tea.

Our next stop was petrol and lunch in Junee a really pretty little town.  We had a really nice chicken and salad sandwich for lunch :) and because our next stop was only 100km down the road we decided to make a visit to the Licorice and Chocolate factory in Junee.  I could have bought all the chocolates but not sure they would survive in the bike in the heat so settled for some licorice yum!  We ran into my friend Kelly's Mum and Dad who also come from Port Stephens how funny!

It is only a short hop down the Olympic hwy past Wagga Wagga to Henty which is a very small town.  As we drove past Wagga Wagga we could see where all the flooding had been it's amazing how far it has gone down.  We are staying in a beautiful B&B that used to be a pub.  It has shared bathrooms but is quite delightful, and cheap $65 a night includes breakfast and if we want we can have a cooked brekky can't ask for better than that!  We took the double bed room because it has a small telly :) Dinner tonight was schnitty's at the local pub Doodle Cooma Arms LOL we were somewhat of an oddity as everyone else there knew everyone else and because it was $10 meal night pretty much the whole town was there!!!
