Happy 4th of July

Friday 4th July
I so thought the 4th of July would be really cool with lots of things happening and lots of fun.  There really wasn't!
Today started out with some really light rain.  Once on the I90 we made lots of miles fast.  We stopped at Wall Drug again and I wanted to take a photo of me on the stuffed horse again.....but it wasn't there!!! I was devastated!! so I took one on the Giant Jackalope instead!

We actually did buy some pharmacy items at Wall Drug.
Then we rode across to The Badlands National Park and rode through the Badlands again.  I didn't take any photos because I took soooo many last time David did take some video with the GoPro.  Another great weather day but after leaving the Badlands it was warm so I took my jacket off but my badooboodas (sp?) were getting such a workout that after lunch I put it back on.  The wind after lunch was sooo strong we were leaning into it all afternoon and after a while I gave up fighting the wind with my neck and just let my head loll, the wind held it up!! so that by the time we got to Sioux City we were so tired and cranky!!  We went to the bar and had a beer and asked what food they were cooking?  Only pizza oh well we will have it.  "it's only a frozen one I will heat up" ok we'll brave it.  It was actually good pizza.
